I am all for being gree, but why is the windmill behind City Hall in Sandusky so loud and in so close proximity to gas tanks? Who approved the permits for this? Aren't there restrictions on these? Greg on Meigs Street

He's the epitome of the Greatest Generation, in the sunset of their time.

Charles Berstling, 91, received six medals on June 7 for his courageous Army service.

The honors came seven decades after Berstling, primarily stationed in the Philippines, served from 1943-46.
